Fefteen Leaves at Contemporary Cluster Rome

“FIFTEEN LEAVES” is a group exhibition composed of a multitude of stories that in an almost natural way intertwine with each other. It is an exhibition path created with the works of the fifteen finalists of the third year of the PRISMA ART PRIZE 2023 painting prize, punctually examined by an excellent committee composed of professionals active in the field of art contemporary art, and hosted, on this occasion, at the prestigious halls of Palazzo Brancaccio in Rome, exhibition venue of Contemporary Cluster.

“Fifteen Leaves” gives voice to intersecting lives along a crossroads conspicuously adorned with lush leaves symbolizing growth, fertility and renewal, and which, in turn, comes across as sensitive, empirical and planetary in flavor: a locus amoenus in which each of these lives can feel encouraged to tell its own story, amiably transposed onto canvas, in an ideal condition where, as the American poet and writer Walt Whitman put it, as he himself stated in his 1855 collection of poems entitled “Leaves of Grass.” “the smallest bud shows that in reality there is no such thing as death, and if there ever was, it led to life, and does not wait for the end to arrest it, and it ceased the moment life appeared.”
