MOBU 2024: THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN

29 May - 2 June 2024, Romexpo, Central Pavilion, Bulevardul Mărăști 65-67, Bucharest. This year, for the first time, Vault One Gallery participated in MoBU (International Art Fair of Bucharest) 2024, the newest contemporary art platform in Central and Eastern Europe and the largest event of its kind in Romania. Vault One Gallery, an organization dedicated to discovering, gathering, and showcasing the works of emerging contemporary visual artists from Transylvania, presented an exhibition titled "The Times They Are A-Changin"—a tribute to Bob Dylan's iconic song.

The exhibition explored the profound and inevitable transformations that shape our world, with Dylan's lyrics serving as a poignant reflection on social upheavals and the fluidity of existence.

Featuring works from diverse branches of the arts, the exhibition showcased a spectrum of human experiences in the face of change. Some pieces highlighted the darkness of war and destruction, while others celebrated innovation and progress. Humor intertwined with solemnity, and abstract visions contrasted with tangible realities. Together, the works emphasized the duality of change: its potential for creation and its capacity for annihilation.

This exhibition invited visitors to reflect on their own perceptions and reactions to the ever-changing landscape of our times, echoing Bob Dylan's timeless message: change, with all its uncertainties, remains an essential and unstoppable force.
